Administrators can define their own subdomain under which the online counter should be accessible to customers. For example, gemeinde-xy.egovstore.online.
In addition to the integrated login for employees, the eGovStore can also be used with modern and secure login servers, such as Microsoft EntraID or OpenID Connect-enabled identity providers (e.g. Keycloak). You can also use an auto-login based on software you already use, such as your website CMS.
2-factor authentication is available for all logins.
The eGovStore already has an integration of the payment service provider Wallee, which enables payments via credit and postcards, as well as other instant payments such as Twint.
To use Wallee, you must create an account with Wallee and enter the configuration data in the EGovStore organisation administration. If you have any difficulties with the Wallee configuration, please contact our support team. Invoice payment is always available.
If you would like to use other payment service providers because you already use one in your organisation, for example, you are welcome to contact us for an integration.
The eGovStore allows you to create products with or without a form. Products can also consist solely of downloads or links to external services.
If you assign a form to your product, you can customise it with the required fields. This means that users only have to enter the fields that are required by your authority for the specific process. Forms can also be linked to links or downloads.
Multi-step forms allow you to organise the ordering process clearly for customers. Preconfigured fields for all forms (such as surname or first name) reduce the work involved in creating them.
You can use daily sales quotas to determine whether a product can only be ordered in limited quantities per day (SBB day passes) and whether a product can be ordered multiple times (waste stamps, bags).
The eGovStore allows you to individually categorise your services, e.g. into the organisational units of your authority or, in the case of several connected municipal administrations, into the individual municipalities.
The organisational units can be given a freely selectable colour code to make it easier for customers to find their way around the eGovStore.
In addition to an automatically indexed full-text search for the products, a tagging mechanism is also available with which you can tag your products to make them filterable by keyword.
The eGovStore deliberately has no account and login functionality for customers. When placing an order, customers only have to enter data that is required by your authority for the desired process. This eliminates any administration of account-based data on the authority and customer side. Orders are processed using your usual processes.
If you have a citizen login that you would like to link to your eGovStore, please contact us to check integration.
All notification emails are free of customer-specific data. The data processing of the order takes place exclusively in the eGovStore admin account. Take the opportunity to secure all admin accesses via 2-factor authentication. We have made 2-factor authentication mandatory for access to the organisation administration of your eGovStore.
In the eGovStore, you can define yourself after how many days a processed order is removed from the system. Use this advanced function and only store user-related data for as long as absolutely necessary in an application that can be accessed online.
Of course, the eGovStore does not use any kind of tracking or collection of user-related data. Cookies are only used in connection with individual technical functions.
Your authority's customers can find all the products and processes relevant to them within one application.
From your website, you can also link directly from the context to a specific product to further reduce the search effort.
Alternatively, you can integrate individual products or all products of individual organisational units directly within the authority website. This allows your customers to access your products from the familiar application context.
It is particularly time-consuming for working customers to turn up at the public authority counter during opening hours. Even if the employer makes it possible, travelling from the workplace often has to be taken into account. The time required is considerable. As a result, important administrative processes are often postponed for a long time.
The eGovStore enables the processing of administrative procedures outside office hours.
Because the eGovStore adapts to your municipality's processes, you can offer customers their forms exactly as they are needed for further processing. This eliminates tedious back and forth via email or telephone.
When implementing the eGovStore, care was taken to make the user interface as clear as possible for customers. The user interface was cleared of all superfluous interaction options.
This should ensure the most intuitive use of the eGovStore on the customer side, so that even customers with little IT affinity can find their way around.
Of course, the eGovStore can also be used via mobile devices (smartphones, tablets). Colour code, full-text search and tagging make it easier to find the desired forms.
The eGovStore was designed with the aim of minimising the amount of data that customers have to enter. For this reason, the standard version completely dispenses with user accounts.
This should also motivate users with data protection concerns to make greater use of the online counter. Saving passwords and problems with forgotten passwords are a thing of the past.
For the same reasons, we have refrained from providing the eGovStore with trackings of any kind.
